Mike has a deep and passionate relationship with movies, stemming from his childhood dream of animating for Disney. From his high-school film club, to his college education in film, he based a solid part of his life around learning the art of film. He has created two full-length amateur movies, along with a collection of short films. Mike's first job was working for a movie theater where he spent over a decade screening just about every movie in existence.

While he has seen a lot of movies, there are definitely some major cultural gaps in his movie-going portfolio. He avoided a lot of 80's and early 90's movies that most consider to be cult classics.
